Two of our favorite prints, “Brighton Pier” and “A Day at the Races,” are pieces by Zorian Matthews. We first encountered Zorian’s work at his Brighton Beach studio in the UK.
In the midst of boardwalk chaos and the stunning summer scenery, his work caused us to pause. The vibrant colors and unique composition of everyday scenes captured us. Zorian has a beautiful way of beginning with something ordinary, finding a unique vantage point, and confidently choosing bold hues that capture the energy and inspiration of his creative process.
Have you heard the story behind his Rubber Ducks pieces?
We can’t help lingering after our first glance— a reaction our artwork aims to evoke. Kudos, Zorian, for casting the mold!
